Murphy and Bentley

It was so FUN to have Murphy and Bentley spend time with each other this weekend!

The video is hilarious. Nancy was super star auntie and allowed us to have an adult dinner out and go to the Jazz game while she wrangled 2 kiddos. Apparently B didn't want to eat dinner (from Nancy) so Murphy stepped in.

he wanted to push her lots and was manuevering all over the place

M likes to put our shoes on, but Tiff's boots were like nothing he'd ever worn before. He tried to walk and it was so funny.

mom doesn't like it when...

I try and drink her favorite drink. relax, it's not open. but he knows how it works.
I sit with Harris in his bed. Harris was sitting on his bed, as he was instructed and M comes up and sits right down next to him and just starts talking away. I play with mom's sunglasses
I give kisses to the dog

try and get into the dishwasher

thankful

To play outside, just for a few minutes since it's cold

To read with mom and brother
To find the least desirable location in the house to play, Harris's bed (he insists on sitting in his bed often, i come around the corner and he is sitting there playing with a toy he brought with him, i hate it!)To get mad trying to carry his car instead of roll it

The Dunn's are thankful for many things, especially the simple joys that Murphy brings us.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Safe travels to all our friend and family on the go.

big man at the zoo

Until this weekend, when the flurries fell, we have had an incredible spell of warm fall weather, enough so that we went to the zoo last weekend when Kerry and Linda were in town visiting!
The zoo had 3 big births this summer, so we saw the baby elephant, baby giraffe and 3 baby tigers. We had a great day!

Big man at the zoo...walking tour.

She was fun to watch. Her name is zuri, very clumsy and adorable, just 3 months old.

baby giraffe, also 3 months old, 7 feet tall

family fun

Fall

Here are the highlights from newest to oldest. Work has kept me busy and absent from blogging the last few months but uponing returning from this last trip, life will now settle down just in time for the holidays. Since i've been absent, M has been walking and is a little pistol with no time to do other things than walk. Harris's results on the cancer front post surgery were positive and malignant, but docs feel good that they got everything. Matt and I continue our usual routine while keeping up with life and making time for a few new things.

by the end of trick or treating is when he got the concept of carrying the pail himself and that goodies were in it.

I had a work trip that matt was able to come along- we cruised out of Spain and visited the Canary Islands and Madiera, Portugal. Thanks to G&G Dunn for watching the little man.

Portugal, this place was beautiful.

"i have to put a suit on, on vacation" famous words from my husband.

childrens museum, searching for dinosaur bones

water and sand that they could sift through, he wasn't sure about that feeling on his hands

this was his first "walking tour" of a museum and he had a great time.

My favorite time of the year is fall, this is Sundance. We took the ski lift up to enjoy the beauty.

love this.

my mom and sis were visiting for the marathon weekend.

ready for trails already.

finishing marathon #5 with Emily (she beat me this year). Notice mom and M in the background cheering me to the finish.

Rise and Shout...the Cougars are out!

I can hardly sum it all up.

Texas. Football. new Cowboy Stadium. BYU winning in the big D. Johnson family weekend. Uncle Dan's BBQ. Waco visit. Tex-Mex at Chuy's. Seeing a score of 14-13. BYU fans were out of their minds- it was soo fun and suprisingly the OU fans were extremely gracious- they wished us a safe trip home and congratulated us on the way to our cars- i think they were still in shock and realized they had a long ride home. I'm still bubbling over. If the rest of the season goes to the pooper, so be it, this one was for the records.

m had a slow start to the festivities:)

seeing Tiff and Bentley (and Dan) was another highlight! Miss you guys.

all the boys

Matt successfully hosted the first ever CR ENGLAND economic stimulus golf tourney. A self organized tournament. He did a great job and M and I went out to the course for lunch and a little spectating.

M is really moving with his little scooter- inside and out. The day has also come (and i knew it would) when M thinks it's hilarious to feed the dog from his hand. Dropping items on the floor just won't do, hand feeding is better.

H had his surgery today and all went well. He has 12 stiches on the deepest layer of skin and 19 staples on the top layer. It makes me feel a bit sad as he knows i'm the one who took him in. i'm the bad mom when i have to clean Murphy's nose and i'm the bad mom who takes puppy in for surgery. I hate that. The mass has been sent to the lab just to make sure there is nothing else to be concerned with. I'm also happy to report that i escaped the visit financially under four figures (did i say that- you know that i'd spend just about any amount of money for that silly dog- but it's a tough swallow).
I suffered through 20 miles last weekend and will do it again this weekend, one more time before the race. What i've learned from this training session is that i'd like to write a book of all the thoughts that go through runner's minds as they are running for 3+ hours. it would be a mix of comedy oneliners and profanities.

What a great swing!! Notice Utah Lake and Mtn. Timpanogos in the background.
busted.
notice the drool that a cheddar goldfish will cause
cutest outfit ever, Bentley Anne sent for Murphy's b-day
